The sheer freedom of cycling around country roads in beautiful Yorkshire is tranquility personified. Cycling not only keeps one very fit - I must be an endorphin junkie because I always feel so much happier during and after I have finished a cycle ride - but one can see so much more of our gorgeous countryside whilst on a bike. And stopping to take in the sights is a pleasure, plus parking my reliable two wheeled companion is alway easy and FREE plus the high prices for petrol/diesel don’t affect my enjoyment.
An idyllic day for is pedalling around North Yorkshire’s quiet country lanes, not seeing much motor traffic, though always delighted to see fellow cyclists, and the camaraderie is wonderful as we always acknowledge one another.
